Local, licensed, and dedicated to quality.
Baobab Chimney and Dryer Vent Inc isn’t just another chimney sweep in Astoria. We’re the team that treats your fireplace like it’s our own, with the same care we’d give our own home’s heart. Every sweep starts with a thorough inspection, not just a quick brush-down. We remove creosote buildup down to the flue liner, clean the damper until it glides smooth, and leave your chimney spotless. No shortcuts, no excuses. If we miss something, we’ll come back and fix it, no questions asked. That’s our guarantee, and it’s why homeowners in Astoria keep calling us back.
Astoria’s old brick row houses and modern apartments all share one thing: a chimney that needs proper maintenance. We see the damage firsthand, rusted crowns, cracked liners, and fireplaces that won’t stay lit because of neglected vents. That’s why we don’t just sweep; we diagnose. A blocked vent or damaged liner isn’t just a fire hazard, it’s a ticking time bomb. Our crew knows the signs of trouble before they become emergencies. We’ll tell you straight up if your chimney needs repairs, not just a sweep, because your safety matters more than a quick sale.
What sets us apart isn’t just our work, it’s how we do it. We show up on time, in clean uniforms, and we clean up after ourselves. No soot on your floors, no mess left behind. We use the right tools for the job, from high-powered vacuums to brushes that fit your chimney’s exact dimensions. And we’re not afraid to get dirty. If your chimney’s in rough shape, we’ll handle it with the same care as a brand-new installation. That’s white-glove service, Astoria-style. No fluff, just results.
Most chimney sweeps treat your home like a job. We treat it like ours. That means showing up on time, wearing boot covers to protect your floors, and leaving your space cleaner than we found it. We don’t rush, we take the time to explain what we’re doing and why. And if we miss something, we’ll come back and fix it. That’s not just our policy; it’s how we’ve built trust with Astoria homeowners for years.
You wouldn’t hire an unlicensed electrician, so don’t settle for a chimney sweep without proper credentials. We’re fully licensed and insured, so your home and ours are protected. Plus, we offer a 30-day workmanship guarantee. If something goes wrong after we leave, call us, we’ll make it right. No red tape, no excuses. Just reliable service, Astoria-style.
Some crews lowball you with a quote, then hit you with hidden charges for ‘extra work.’ Not us. Our pricing is upfront, with no upsells. If we find something serious, like a major creosote buildup or structural damage, we’ll tell you straight up and explain your options. No pressure, no fine print.
